I was born and raised in Panama City, Florida and am so blessed to have been brought up with Jesus in my life.

As I was growing up, I knew nothing other than singing in church with my family. I loved the family ministry. It was wonderful to stand united with my family and bring Jesus into the lives of the people that we sang to. I knew I always wanted to sing!

In 1981 I married my high school sweetheart, Terry Kirkland. Terry and I have been married for 27 years. We have a beautiful daughter, Lacy who has graduated from college and started her career at Century 21 as a realtor. We also have a son, Terry Lee who is 17 and just graduated this year from Mosley High School. He will attend Gulf Coast community college in the fall and major in Digital technology and marketing.

Terry and I are very active in our home church, Hiland Park Baptist Church in Panama City.

We are so thankful that the Lord has opened the doors of opportunity for us to travel and expand our ministry areas. It is awesome to know that the Lord is guiding our every footstep. In January of 2000, we traveled to the Philippines. We sang in 6 different villages and saw 200 souls saved. That experience was life-changing for me. I will never forget the hunger on the faces of the people to receive more of Jesus than they had ever experienced before.

I am forever thankful for the calling in my life to do what I love - sing for the Lord!

Home for the Kirkland family is Panama City, FL. We enjoy water skiing, wake-boarding, and just about any water sport. Most of our off time is spent as a family. I suppose you could say our life is simple, but we have found a complex system of love through our family and friends that we spend our time with.

I believe there is truly a place for every gift and every calling to be used in the church. I believe music draws unbelievers into a place of salvation and Christians into a place of rest. I pray daily that God will ordain the steps of this ministry. I know that God is the answer to all the problems we cannot begin to solve. There are songs that address every emotion and a lot of the daily battles we face. I can only imagine what it means to our Father for us to enter into praise and worship and lift His name in song. It is Powerful! I believe the Holy Spirit intervenes with that power and changes lives. My heart's desire is to see lives changed through the ministry of song.

I fully recognize that the chuch is the means through which God has chosen to share the Good News to the rest of the earth. It is with that recognition that Tammy Kirkland Ministries is subject to the authority of the local church and pastor. Our vision is to edify the body of Christ and evangelize the lost by means of Christian music.

In summary, I dedicate myself to the call of Christ, in song, that through my personal relationship with him, I will be a service to others. My goal is clear, I will use this talent of song to minister and see lives changed. Whether in a small church or a large auditorium, the message is the same. People need the Lord!
