Summer Time ..... Summer Time
Summer time...Summer time.... OH how I love the Summer time...
Last night I lay in my bed thinking how many nights of the past month I have actually been in my own bed. I realized after some intense calculating on my part that since June 26th I had slept in my bed 4 nights. Thank Goodness my pillow travels:) God has allowed us to spend time with family, friends, church friends and now we are back home to concentrate on the remainder of our summer schedule. I have posted some new photo's to share our summer adventures with you.... and I do mean adventures. (remember I have a teenage son!)

As I mentioned in the beginning of the newsletter we haven't bee home much this past month. 2 of those nights our friend Phil Cross was in town and was the first house guest in our new home. What an honor. I have never met a man more sold out to ministry than he is or more geniune. He ministered at my home church, Hiland Park Baptist, in both the morning and evening service... and God showed up. His schedule was grueling but he was a class act all day long until 12 midnight when he turned in for the evening. It was our pleasure to have him as our house-guest.

The radio release "Happy In Jesus" has hit number 17 in the Christian Voice Charts. So thank you for requesting it and Thank you DJ's for playing it. It's not always easy to stay "Happy in Jesus" but remembering daily that the joy of the Lord is our strength reminds us to find happiness in him daily.

God Bless you and remember you can always visit us at our website at www.tammykirkland.com to stay updated on our schedule and to read any NEW news we may want to share with you.

Also you can always contact me for Prayer request, ministry opportunities or just to say hi at my e mail address: tkm4him@aol.com

Have a great day and be blessed!
Until next time......

Great Time at National Quartet Convention 2008
The week of NQC in Louisville, Kentucky is a full week of singing, hugging the necks of friends you haven't seen in a year and very little sleep. This year was an extreme amount of fun. I spent the week with 15 Paradigm Artist in a huge exhibitors booth. We laughed and had a great time of fellowship. By Saturday we were all ready to come home. However, it's been a week and I've rested so I can't wait until next year.
Paradigm Music Group attended NQC in a grand style. Our showcase was hosted by Kim Hopper and there were over 40 DJ's and Industry person who attended. So many great things happened during this showcase it's hard to remember them all. Kim Hopper shared 2 songs from her new solo CD and that was great. The group Fresh Anointing sprung a surprise on Casey when her boyfriend BO BO arrived unannounced and proposed to her. The room was filled with joy as she accepted his proposal. 15 DJ's that attended walked away with door prizes from the Paradigm Artist.
After the Paradigm Showcase was over we all rushed to the Songwriters showcase hosted by Phil Cross in Freedom Hall. To our excitement in the first 1/2 hour Calvin Gann introduced Tommy Moseley to sing the song they wrote titled "I will Stand". Needless to say everyone was standing and Tommy made us all proud as he sang his song of testimony.
Thank you to all the DJ's that came by our booth and gave us the opportunity to thank you for playing our music.
I had some great interviews while at NQC. One with Paul Heil who I was so star struck I could hardly speak with. He will definately be testing his skills to edit that interview.
My friend Bruce Edwards in Kentucky and I had an interview on Wed. night. He is a great friend and really supports our music.
Another highlight that I will never forget is on Thursday SGMG hosted a Lifetime achievement banquet for Bill and Gloria Gaither. It was in the VIP room of Freedom Hall. It is an honor to serve on the board of the SGMG that presented that award to them. They both gave speaches, accepted the awards and had alot of photo's taken. I will never forget that banquet.
So many other things took place that I can't possibly list them all. It was a great week.
NQC 2009 will be here before you know it and I hope to have photo's here before long for you to look at.
If you would like to know more about NQC go to the web page www.natqc.com.
Many blessing to you my friends and thanks for stopping by the web page. Sign the guestbook before you leave...

Lots of hugs!!!!

We are booking for the "Happy in Jesus" tour
What a fun time of year it is. Summer is here and it's hot in Florida. We are so excited about the dates we are booking for the "Happy in Jesus" concert tour. More than anything I'm excited about all God is doing in my life! I shared a story at my album release concert that I had read recently about a craftsman who works with stone. The story told about the many times he would tirelessly tape his stone over and over and never see a change in the appearance. But he never losses his patience he just keeps working; one tap at a time. He may have tapped the stone 99 times and on the 100th time it breaks. He see's that all his work was not in vain. The Lord keeps reminding me that it is to him that I am to remain faithful. That's what I want in my life. So I want to encourage you today no matter what the situation you are facing...keep doing what you know to do with all you have within you! God knows the plan he has for you even when you can't.

I love you and you are in my prayers daily.
Your sister in Christ!

Thank you for supporting our Album Release Concert
What a wonderful night of worship. Thank you to all of you who supported the concert by attending and those of you who could not attend who prayed for us. Hiland Park Baptist Church was full on Sunday night May 20th, 2007 at 6:30 PM. So many friends showed up to support Terry and I. For that we are so thankful.

We opened the concert with a multi media display on screen of my children Terry Lee and Lacy recounting their lives in ministry. It was so funny! The video was definately one of the highlights of the evening.

We began the concert with the song "Thank You Lord!" What an appropriate opening song... because I had a lot to be thankful for as I looked around that room.

Friends traveled from far away places: Darlene and Ronnie Castille, Tommy and Charles Moseley from Mississippi. Cricket and Dennis Lee, Michelle Holloway from Dothan. Kirk and Shirley Thompson from Cottondale. Mike Parrish, Bill Belluew from Port St. Joe. Other artist attending were The Gann Brothers, Jennifer Strickland, Undivided, Craig Edwards, Amy Gann, Grace Bailey, Billy Hudson and the girls from LightHouse Childrens Home in Tallahassee. My,what a room of anointed talent singers... and they are my dear friends!

On stage with me this evening were three of my favorite people in the world. Rhonda Lewis, Eddie Register and Amy Gann Henderson. The three of them are the most wonderfully anointed singers I know. I can't thank them enough for helping me out by singing background vocals on the CD and being on stage with me for the album release concert. Everyone was so blown away by their talent.

The concert was once again enhanced by the talent of the HPBC choir when they joined me on stage to accompany me with "He's God". WOW! The anointing that was in this building was amazing! God was being exhaulted and He was letting us know He was truly amoung us. Thank you Ken Brookins for leading the choir in both the studio and on stage for the album release.

Each song had a multi media display on screen. Derek Boggs and Eject Media worked so hard to see that everything was perfect. Tom Hoots showed up to video the concert. Thank you Tom and Derek!

As we approached the time of invitation. I consider this to be the most important part of every concert and it proved to be tonight. I sang "I know a man Who Can". Calvin Gann came on stage and played the piano. We gave an invitation and atleast 4 people came foward to accept Christ.

I got an email from my friend Tammy Creel who said "The young man who accepted Christ Sunday night... when he walked down it looked like he was barely making it. When he came up from the alter he was light on his feet and the presence of GOD was all over him!" Praise God for His Saving Grace.

I loved the concert and I love to sing every song on this CD. I can't wait to come to your church and sing them and see the anointing of our Father fill your church and change someone's life....just because "HE'S GOD!"

Many Blessings and I love ya.
